On dating

What to do and not to do when it comes to finding your prince charming.
First of all if its your first date, AVOID talking everything about your life, some girls are in a hurry to lay all their cards on the table, they talk absolutely everything, if they feel they should lost weight (showing insecurity), if they got a C on chemistry, family issues, about how bad was their relationship with their ex, and worst of all, there are many desperate ones, telling him how much they want to have children and become a housewife as soon as possible (scary). I know it sounds crazy, but it really happens, no wonder why boys run away from them as fast as they can, the last thing they want is a second date with the psycho.
The worst of all, is that after this first date you go back to you home happily thinking that it was the best date ever, and that he probably won't take long to call you again to set up the next meeting; when in reality the boy heads back home thinking "I'll never going to see her again, what a nightmare". Then these girls wonder why they never called them back or answer their phone calls.
So a little advice: Never annoy them with your tragic stories from your childhood, open up yourself step by step, don't say all your life story on the first time you meet him; please keep a little MISTERY so he wants to know more about you, and let him get to know a bit of you, date by date.
Also one more thing I don't understand about woman (not all, but many), that as soon as they get the man and start a relationship, they stop to go to the gym, they don't exercise as they were used to, they eat more, they dress poorly, they don't even use make-up, they became careless and lazy, or even get their hair done, if they use to get manicure and pedicure now they don't even care about it. They don't totally look like clochards but they don't look as good as before, as good as when their boyfriend called for them. This is stupid, and a good way for the boys to get tired of having as a girlfriend a so-so girl. They prefer ALWAYS the cute one that never forget to take good care of her self.Respect your self and your body, with or without a relationship. You should always look your best! There are not ugly people, only lazy ones!

Always be yourself, don't try to impress no one, boys like girls that are cute and happy, with good matters, and that they are humble, and down to earth, no one like little spoiled princesses, who can't even stand their selves by their own. Boys are your partners, not your daddy's. They hate drama queens, so please RELAX. Being in a relationship is to enjoy, not a game of power, or not to have someone to complain the whole day about how shitty your life if. So be happy, and enjoy being with a true good gentleman.

Dress like a Parisian

Second post from Paris, like you might know, I am from Mexico City, but I love Paris and parisians, I love their lifestyle, how they dress, their beautiful sense of style, even the food they eat, what not to like about them? they are classy, they dress well, they eat properly, they live in the best city in the world, plus the boys are gorgeous…
First let's talk about their style, bye bye bling, parisians don't like bling, they don't wear too short skirts, they always dress comfortable, they go for quality over quantity, they have this natural effortless style, they always wear neutral colors that can match everything, they really know how to shop.
Here is a really good website where you can find amazing tips, from where to go, what to buy, everything about Paris: http://www.doitinparis.com
I recommend you to visit 3 of my favorite shops in Paris: Maje, Sandro and Ba&sh. You can find hip affordable clothes, with good quality, and pieces you can continue wearing next seasons.
Something I learned from parisians, is that fashion changes every season, so it's better to go for the classic style, buy clothes you can use over and over again, colors like white, grey, navy blue, black, red. Don't buy too much prints, maybe just an accessory, or just one colored piece, never buy the whole outfit.
Winter

One of my favorite look ever

Jewelry advice: Never wear a necklace and earrings at the same time, it's just way too much.

Avoid:
  • Body piercings are ok if you are Paris Hilton at age 18. You should only have your ears pierced.
  • White boots (never acceptable)
  • Backpacks, unless you are a tourist, and you are also wearing your scrunchie, and your crocs with white socks.
  • Too tight skirts, leggins, too many prints, clothes that show off the brand name too much (looks cheap).
  • One more advice: NEVER match more than 3 colors in one outfit, otherwise you will look like a clown.

Best winter looks

So I've been preparing my outfits for this winter season, first of all, I think the best idea is to get some ideas from magazines, blogs, online web sites, or wherever, is your choice. I love to get ideas from fashion on instagram, I prefer cool girls looks than celebrities… Anyway the best way to get ideas, is to make some research.
I'm going to post some pics of winter outfits I loved, hope you all like them, like I did…

First accessory we all have to have this winter is this amazing black hat, you can find it almost everywhere from BCBG Max Azria to the classics, Chanel & Yves Saint Laurent.  This one is from the YSL runway, which I think is incredible, looks amazing, and sophisticated. Also I saw it in burgundy color, which I also loved...
Black leather,  MUST HAVE ITEMS, black leather never goes out of style, and goes with absolutely everything…

Black leather jacket

Black leather pants

Then the all white look, no explain needed, looks clean, and gorgeous, specially for brunettes!

Casual looks…

The best colors for winter are burgundy & black, these two will never let you down, mix both of them at the same time, and you will get a winning look…

My favorite…

I just received today these two amazing jeans for winter season, they go with everything, one is grey color ripped, and the other is a red almost like burgundy, with a finishing style that almost looks like leather.

You can find them in Mexico City at the shop Beluga which is located in Plaza Santa Teresa in periférico sur, at the south of the City. I can assure you these two styles are basically classics. For more info about Beluga Boutique, you can find it on instagram @belugamx

Packing for Paris & London

I get as excited for Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve, as I get excited for summer. For me both seasons are equally important (well maybe a little bit more summer, because I love the beach, and wearing nothing but a bikini), anyways I'm trying to focus on winter season…
I'm going to two of my favorite cities in the world, so yes I already started to pack. My luggage is full of leather, leather pants in black and burgundy, jackets, fur, gloves, beanies, scarfs, boots, jewelry, bags, and of course party dresses. I will post some pics of what I'm packing, and something I being meaning to buy, but can't find them anywhere, which are the Givenchy boots. So hopefully I will find them either in Paris or London. I want them baaaaadly!
Fur, fur, fur

The Givenchy boots I want

Condesa is gorgeous

Today I walked all circuito Amsterdam in the area called Condesa in Mexico City. In my opinion this is one of the nicest areas to walk in Mexico. I call it my little St.Germain de pres. You can find a lot of people from Europe and all around the world. Tourist love this place, because you can find little shops, cafés, restaurants, bars/clubs, well everything you look for. You can ride the bike or walk around it. Also just next to it there is this street called Alvaro Obregon which belongs to Roma Norte area, is also amazing, full of nice little restaurants and bars (later we talk about it), but its worth going.

Here is my picture today walking in this area, wearing all the clothes from my favorite shop in Mexico called BELUGA which is located in the south of the City (Plaza Santa Teresa), my bag is a peek-a-boo from Fendi, and my shoes Tory Burch.

Acting like a Parisian

Hey everyone, well in case you don't know, I will tell you Paris is one of my favorite cities in the world top1, then goes London, then NY… But later we'll talk about that.
I've been going to Paris since I was a little kid, I've lived there several times, and almost all my summers I spend in this magical city. And again in some weeks I'll be there again. Can't help my self from going, seriously, who can blame me?
My favorite area is St. Germain de prés, here is where I always stay, is the arrendisment full of life, a lot of young people, specially cute boys and girls. Its very safe here, full of cafés and restaurants, shops, well everything! My favorite spots are of course the legendary Cafe de Fleur, La Palette, Le deux Margots, Germain, Ralph's Cafe. Then if you want to go for a late drink and see the cool kids of Paris, go to Montana (bouncers there can be awful but you can give it a try), also there is this small bar called prescription which I love t go for a couple of drinks. Anyway there are many places to grab a glass in St.Germain. I usually never leave this area.
