Dress like a Parisian

Second post from Paris, like you might know, I am from Mexico City, but I love Paris and parisians, I love their lifestyle, how they dress, their beautiful sense of style, even the food they eat, what not to like about them? they are classy, they dress well, they eat properly, they live in the best city in the world, plus the boys are gorgeous…
First let's talk about their style, bye bye bling, parisians don't like bling, they don't wear too short skirts, they always dress comfortable, they go for quality over quantity, they have this natural effortless style, they always wear neutral colors that can match everything, they really know how to shop.
Here is a really good website where you can find amazing tips, from where to go, what to buy, everything about Paris: http://www.doitinparis.com
I recommend you to visit 3 of my favorite shops in Paris: Maje, Sandro and Ba&sh. You can find hip affordable clothes, with good quality, and pieces you can continue wearing next seasons.
Something I learned from parisians, is that fashion changes every season, so it's better to go for the classic style, buy clothes you can use over and over again, colors like white, grey, navy blue, black, red. Don't buy too much prints, maybe just an accessory, or just one colored piece, never buy the whole outfit.

One of my favorite look ever

Jewelry advice: Never wear a necklace and earrings at the same time, it's just way too much.

Avoid:
  • Body piercings are ok if you are Paris Hilton at age 18. You should only have your ears pierced.
  • White boots (never acceptable)
  • Backpacks, unless you are a tourist, and you are also wearing your scrunchie, and your crocs with white socks.
  • Too tight skirts, leggins, too many prints, clothes that show off the brand name too much (looks cheap).
  • One more advice: NEVER match more than 3 colors in one outfit, otherwise you will look like a clown.
